The display remains dark and the programme selector is not lit up power

Orsak: There is no power to the machine.

Lösning

Check whether the electricity supply to the machine is switched on and the fuse or circuit breaker has not tripped.

The programme does not start when Drain/Spin has been selected performance

Orsak: The machine has not been prepared for using for the first time.

Lösning

Prepare the machine as described in Before using for the first time.

The display is dark power

Orsak: The display has switched off automatically to save energy (Standby mode).

Lösning

Press a button. Standby comes to an end.

The machine shakes during the spin cycle installation

Orsak: The machine feet are not level.

Lösning

Level the machine (see Installation).

The pump makes strange noises noise

Orsak: This is not a fault. These noises occur at the end of a pump sequence as a normal part of the operation.

Lösning

No action needed. This is normal operation.

Large amounts of detergent residue remain in the detergent dispenser drawer maintenance

Orsak: The water supply pressure is too low.

Lösning

Clean the filters in the water inlets.

Powder detergent used in conjunction with water softeners tends to become sticky maintenance

Orsak: Improper loading sequence of detergent and water softener.

Lösning

In future, add washing powder into the dispenser drawer first, and then add the water softener.

Fabric conditioner is not completely dispensed or too much water remains in the compartment maintenance

Orsak: The siphon tube is not correctly positioned or is clogged up.

Lösning

Clean the siphon (see Cleaning and care - Cleaning the detergent dispenser drawer).

The display is in a different language other

Orsak: A different language has been selected in Settings Language.

Lösning

Set the language you want. The flag symbol will guide you.

Liquid detergent does not give the required result quality

Orsak: Liquid detergents usually contain no bleaching agents and do not remove fruit, coffee and tea stains.

Lösning

Use a general purpose detergent containing a bleaching agent. Pour stain removers into compartment j of the dispenser drawer and liquid detergent into a dispenser ball. Never put stain removers and liquid detergent together in the dispenser drawer.

Grey, greasy particles cling to washed laundry quality

Orsak: Insufficient amounts of detergent were used to break down the particles of grease in heavily soiled laundry.

Lösning

Use more detergent. Before washing the next load run a Cottons 60°C programme with powder detergent but without a load.

White residues which look like powder detergent are seen on dark textiles after washing quality

Orsak: The detergent contained compounds (zeolites) to aid water softening which are not soluble in water and have ended up on the laundry.

Lösning

Try and brush off the residues with a soft brush once the laundry is dry. Wash dark textiles using a detergent which contains no zeolites. Liquid detergents usually contain no zeolites.

Textiles have particularly greasy soiling quality

Orsak: Insufficient detergent or improper detergent selection for heavily soiled laundry.

Lösning

Select a programme with pre-wash. Use a liquid detergent for the pre-wash and a powder detergent for the main wash. The use of heavy-duty detergent is recommended in the main wash for very heavily soiled work clothing.

The drum door cannot be opened by pressing the Door button other

Orsak: There is no power to the machine, or power cut, or the door was not correctly engaged, or there is still water in the drum.

Lösning

Check whether the machine is switched on and the electricity supply is switched on. If there is a power cut, open the drum door as described in the manual. If the door was not correctly engaged, press hard against the lock side of the drum door and then press the Door button. If there is still water in the drum, clean the drainage system.

Continue a programme after an interruption to the power supply power

Orsak: Power cut or the machine has been switched off and then back on again.

Lösning

Once power has been restored, switch the machine on with the K button to continue the programme. Confirm the message shown in the display, and then press the Start button. The programme will then continue with the next programme stage.

De vanligaste frågorna om Miele PW 5065.

Maskinen kan vara obalanserad. Justa maskinens ben så att den står stabil. Se installationsavsnittet för instruktioner.

Om strömmen går kan du öppna trummen genom att använda den nödläge-utgångsspaken bakom tvättmedelsdispenseraren. Se avsnittet om öppning av trummen vid blockerad dränering/strömavbrott.

För LP-versionen: Rengör dränfiltret och dränpumpen. För AV-versionen: Kontakta serviceavdelningen. Kontrollera också att dränslangen inte är för högt ansluten (max 1 m höjd).

Vita rester på mörk tvätt är ofta zeoliter från tvättmedlet. Använd tvättmedel utan zeoliter eller flytande tvättmedel för mörka textilier. Du kan också försiktigt borsta av residuerna när tvätten är torr.

Det kan betyda att vattenhanen inte är helt öppen eller att inloppsslangens är vridad. Kontrollera att vattenhanen är helt öppen och att slangen inte är vridad. Rengör eventuellt vattenfiltren.

Nej, denna tvättmaskin är inte lämplig för inbyggnad. Kontrollera också att den inte installeras direkt ovanför eller nära en öppen brunnsöppning, eftersom fukt kan skada elektriska komponenter.
